Lord,
Still the clamor of our days,
and calm our rushing anxious ways,
In silence teach us how to praise,
Give us peace within, we pray.

Being still requires action - on our part.

A. W. Tozer wrote that the child of God travels in an appointed way.

"Accidents may indeed appear to befall him, " wrote Tozer, "but these evils will be so in appearance only and will seem evils only because we cannot read the secret script of God's providence."

Nothing, NOTHING catches Jehovah God by surprise. Lean hard on Him.

January 21, the East is FAR from the West

   As far as the east is from the west so far has He removed  our transgressions from us.
   Psalms 103:12
 
   Somehow or another, through Grace our sins are redeemed; our failures blessed.  I cannot tell you how...but I can rejoice in the mystery.  And I do.

I was recently reminded of the instruction of the little song with a big message that my children still sing, "...Oh, be careful little mouth what you say, Oh, be careful little mouth what you say, For the Father up above is looking down in love, Oh, be careful little mouth what you say."

Proverbs 16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
